August 8th is National Pickleball Day! Volunteers needed.
The Sarnia Lambton Pickleball Club is marking National Pickleball Day on Saturday August 8th in the best way possible—with a full day of community, camaraderie, and non-stop action on the courts. To honour the sport we all love, the club is hosting an exclusive Open House for all our members. Whether you are looking to fine-tune your third-shot drop, challenge your favourite drilling partners, or simply mix and mingle with fellow enthusiasts, this event is the perfect opportunity to celebrate our thriving local pickleball community.
The highlight of the celebration? An incredible 14 hours of continuous free play! The courts will be open and rocking from 8:00 AM all the way until 10:00 PM, giving everyone plenty of time to fit a few games into their schedule. There’s no need to worry about booking a slot—just grab your paddle, bring your energy, and drop in whenever you can. Let’s pack the courts, share some laughs, and make this National Pickleball Day one for the books.
More details coming soon! Mark August 8th on your calendar!
To keep play running smoothly and ensure everyone has a great experience, we need volunteer Court Monitors throughout the day. Court Monitors will help organize player rotations, answer questions, and keep the games moving on all four courts.
Please consider helping out by volunteering for a 2-hour Court Monitor Shift. You'll still have plenty of time to enjoy the free open play and all the other activities planned for the day.
