The Sarnia Lambton Pickleball Club was founded in 2023 by a small group of passionate players who shared a vision: to create a welcoming space where anyone in the community could learn, play, and enjoy the sport.
An early and important partnership with DeGroot’s Nurseries provided a unique first home, where members spent that inaugural winter playing under the glass in the greenhouse—a setting that quickly became part of the Club’s story. As interest surged and membership grew rapidly, it became clear that a permanent facility was needed.
After an extensive search, a location was secured in fall 2025—now known as the Rally House. Thanks to the dedication of a committed volunteer team, the space was transformed in just three months from a former retail operation into a fully functioning, four-court professional facility - we can’t thank that team enough for their hard work!
Today, the Club continues to thrive as a volunteer-driven organization, now with over 400 active members and continuing to grow. A dedicated Board of Directors and an engaged membership base support all aspects of operations, including lessons, mentorship, programming, technical services, and more. The Club’s success is a direct reflection of the time, energy, and passion contributed by its incredible volunteers.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of our members for their belief in the Club and their continued support. Your enthusiasm and commitment have helped shape what we are today, and we look forward to continuing to grow the game and welcome even more players across Sarnia-Lambton in the years ahead.
