For more information visit our Social Play Page.
Our Club offers a variety of both fun social play and rated competitive play. For rated play, we try to ensure players get competitive games, and are “relatively” evenly matched. To support this, we have a Club Rating system, which is modelled after the Pickleball Canada rating system and the DUPR ratings system.
In addition to leveled play, the Club offers ‘Open Play’ and ‘Social Play’ sessions where ratings are not needed.
Generally, our club runs a quarterly model for ratings evaluations, but as we have had a new large number of new members, we are hoping to verify your rating as quickly as possible. The fee is $10+HST which includes court rental. You must sign up through Court Reserve.
The steps to having your rating verified are:
● Complete this form. Fill in all the information you can, to give us the clearest picture of your skills that you can.
● Register to play on either:
○ Wednesday, October 21 from 12-2
○ Saturday, October 24 from 10-12
During these times members of the Assessment Committee will be present to coordinate groupings and monitor play.
● After the these sessions, members of the Assessment Committee will evaluate the new members and you will be assigned a SLPC Club Level by email within 24-48 hours
● This will make it possible for our new SLPC Members to sign up for applicable November
sessions and leagues
